The article goes on to say "BigPond is internet for dummies an no-one in their right mind would sign up with BigPond if they had an alternative. So why do people pay good money for this junk? Because they're stupid and they don't know any better.



If the government wants to fix broadband in this country, it should start by protecting people against ISPs selling such crap."

According to Reuters, the "ads, which cost $85,000 per second during this year's game, fumbled overall as they failed to connect with viewers or just scared them, according to researchers who tracked people's brain activity."

Computing superstore PC World said it will no longer sell the storage devices, affectionately known as floppies, once existing stock runs out.



The first floppy disk was introduced in 1971 by IBM and heralded as a revolutionary device."



It's been long overdue, to be honest. Apple dropped the floppy in May 1998 and USB keys are the new portable media.
