{mosimage}Last week, I bought a XtremeMac Tuff Wrap for my iPod nano (2nd Gen) from NextByte. Originally, I was looking for something cheap for about $10 -- this was $30 and came with a decent clip -- or so I thought.

This morning was the first time I'd used the clip, I clipped it to my belt and then went to look at the screen ... the nano then just fell from my belt, the clip broke into 4 different pieces. A small piece of plastic that held the clip together had broken, rendering it useless.

Talk about weak plastic.

iPod nano Lock Up

Posted In Music |

{mosimage}This morning I was on the train and my iPod nano (2nd Gen) locked up when trying to play a podcast. Not being near a browser, there wasn't anything I could do, but here's what you need to do in order to reset it:-

  1. Toggle the "Hold" switch On, then Off again.
  2. Press and hold down the Menu and Center buttons for several seconds.
  3. The unit should reset to factory defaults.

{mosimage}I can sum this movie up in one word - silly. Michael Bay has taken it upon himself to single-handedly crush the life out of the Transformers that I know and love.

This movie is just wrong on so many levels. It comes across like another stupid American-Terrorist-Army movie, in which the US army treats both Autobots and Decepticons as invading aliens. At one point, I was like, ummm, isn't this meant to be a Transformers movie ? So, where are the Transformers and why aren't they center-stage ?

The best thing about this movie, is they used the voice talent of Peter Cullen, the original Optimus Prime voice from the 80's cartoons. Hugo Weaving, was just wasted as the voice of Megatron.

All and all, it's a big budget, slow and long (2hrs 24mins) CGI-fest, with a crappy story. Hasbro, you've sold out, but I'm sure you'll make a truck-load in the process.

{mosimage}Today is the 7th of the 7th in 2007, a rather significant date and also when there are rock concerts happening on every continent around the globe, to try and bring awareness to climate change via Live Earth.

I'm down with the flu, so I'll be sleeping through much of it, though I hope to catch the Beastie Boys who will be in London.

Update 8/7: At 7:30am this morning, I got to see the Beastie Boys performing, tearing it up quite nicely.
